About the event
Well Farm and Ranch Educational Services took the summer off but ready now to get everyone on the same page on growing more quality forage to increase livestock gains and increase your profits at the local sale barn !!!!
Topics include:
- Early preparations on controling winter and spring weeds and brush.
- Beware of the Fall ArmyWorm !!! Scouting and insecticide control methods.
- Has the Desert Termite become a target insect to control in pastures.
- Using pre emergent herbicide to control the grass burr and other grassy weeds that affect hay quality.!!! We will look at cost comparison per acre on getting the job done
- Hog Control with Kuput Bait and IPM methods . Penciling things out to see what's most cost effective.
- Is the Dove Weed taking us over. Let's learn best time to treat and control this noxious weed !!!
5 TDA Approved CEUs per workshop, Law and Reg and IPM CUE's along with General hours.
